Anime is Japanese animation. One can rent anime at speciality rental shops and Blockbuster. Just because it's animation doesn't mean it is for kids. Go sift through the different animes in this land: Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, and Fushigi Yuugi. If you are into love and romance, check out Sailor Moon and Fushigi Yuugi. If you just like plain comedy, check out Tenchi Muyo. Also check out the U of M club Animania! They sponsor free anime viewings, so go take a peek and see what you are missing!
Feel like relaxing and chilling out? Go to this place, and get a cold mocha drink from your fridge. Stroll by the jukebox to play the nicest songs, and sit by the stage to hear some poetry. Maybe you can even include some of your writings, just ask her! Give some views about your favorite books at the book discussion group. Soon to include Smiley's Book Review, where she reviews the newest (or oldest) books that sound interesting. Pick up the e-zine at the newstand here, if you haven't already read it.
Need to understand that new thing called the Internet...then look here for some great fun! Learn HTML, the web language to create a basic web page. If you are already in the know download some web software at the soon to be included Download Page. Also check out the link page, if you have a site that needs advertising, or want to find some interesting links. You can include your site in this fast growing page after you drop Smiley an email. After a stroll in Web Land you may know something more about the 'Net!
This is a newly developed land, so don't expect too much. It will also connect to Chat Paradise, have the e-zine, and connect to Web Land's link page. This will include a Java Script Mad Libs Section, a Indian Youth Page, and some pop-culture stuff. Smiley is planning to get a virtual pet, also!
This place, a paradise to many, includes the favorite thing to do on the 'net (for some people)...chat! You will need a Java enabled browser to use the chat features, thanks to Parachat and ICE chat. The first chat room will have no activity in it because it is Smiley's own chat room. If you all want Smiley can set up a weekly chat time with everyone, just let her know by email. To get into this chatroom you will need to login. The second chat room will be constantly busy because it is an interweb chat that connects to everyone with an ICE chat room. If you need someone to talk to, go to that chat room.
Like any good peacemaker, Smiley needs alliances in order to make more people visit her world. She also needs friends to protect her from the enemies of the world/universe. Through the alliances, you can visit the many different facets of life. Just hop on whenever you are done visiting Smiley's World.
