Angel

How can I approach an
angel like you
every time I try to talk to you
my throat ceases to work
and I make myself look like a love bound fool

Sometimes I wonder if there is 
something wrong with me
I don't know if it is your beauty
or if it is something else

I always build myself up to speak
to you but I forget about everything
when I see you
but because I am not always able
to talk aloud when I am around you
I talk in the words of my poetry

Maybe on a day that is coming
soon I will be able to tell you
how I feel in person
but to start I must use one of the most
romantic things that I know
besides a night alone with a
candle light dinner under the stars

I will always paint pictures
with my poetry
hopefully they are as beautiful
to you as they atr to me
and I hope that they can be
half as beautiful
as the person that inspired them

Maybe on one sweet day
we will be together
but if we must settle to be 
friends I can still live
but I just need to be around you

Because the thought of you
makes me lose all concentration
on the task at hand
so now my first task is to be 
with you
and I only can hope that
you will be my baby

I just want to be around you
because you change my outlook
my dreams, and all of my thoughts
I just hope that one day the 
pictures that are painted share
both of our images side by side
